After I finished Gunpoint recently, which was a very short and fun(!) game, it’s now time for the next game. I’ve already posted a picture of the start of the game and of course it’s Dreamfall: Chapters!
I really enjoyed playing through the first 2 games initially and have definitely been wondering where the story’s going with this. It was one of my most anticipated games of the last years and I’m just hoping that it’s going to be good. I’ve not read up on it much other than knowing the first part had a lukewarm response from critics and players. But as far as I know they’ve largely said it’s a slow start of the series to set the stage for the conclusion.
I really can’t wait to get started on this game!
Over the last couple of months I’ve been missing this dear hobby of mine; Let’s Playing. The simple act of playing games and the community you build around it. I’ve missed it and now that life’s become more quiet and not hectic I want to get back to it. My idea is to start off with some small projects to get back to it and then gradually move onto bigger projects to see how I can manage the time as well.
I was thinking about some games from the past that I really ought to complete, but I also feel like some of those wouldn’t be good starters. I was thinking of the following games:
- Dreamfall Chapters
- The Walking Dead: Season Two (starting over from the beginning)
- Kentucky Route Zero
- Octodad: Dadliest Catch
If you have any games I really ought to check out; please leave a comment! Keep in mind that for now I’m looking for games that aren’t super long and have a definitive end.
Please let me know!
I’ve not done any Let’s Introduces in a while and I have a bunch of games that I find cool, but not LP-worthy or.. that simply wouldn’t be good as LP’s. So I’m wondering if I should make Let’s Introduces more often. Let me know what you guys think, and I’ll take that into consideration.
For those wondering what Let’s Introduces are; You can see examples such as Super Meat Boy, Civilization 5 and Dwarf Fortress. Essentially they are introductions to a game where I’ll record a set to show the basics of it, but where I won’t complete the game. Good to show off indie games for example, or games that a LP just wouldn’t suit.
